Carlos Brites Joins Team as Director of Business Development Latin America

ZymeFlow welcomes Carlos Brites to ZymeFlow as the Director of Business Development – Latin America.

Carlos brings extensive commercial experience from the Downstream, Refining, and Petrochemical markets, as well as recent involvement in renewable fuel projects. With over 10 years of experience between Honeywell UOP, Topsoe, and other major companies like Dupont (in coatings and fibers) and 3M (in new opportunity development), Carlos has a strong focus on refining catalysts throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

Carlos is Brazilian and resides in Rio de Janeiro, where the region’s key Oil & Gas companies are concentrated. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, an MBA in Marketing, and a Master’s in Business.

Outside of work, Carlos enjoys outdoor activities, beach tennis, and motorsports. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and holds dual citizenship, Portuguese and Brazilian.
